Much has been written in the Lake Travis View over the last month about the City of Lakeway’s desire to annex the Lakeway Municipal Utility District.

One of those stories was written by Clara Cobb of the North Lake Travis Log and published in both the View and the Log on March 5, appearing on page A2.
After 11 p.m. on Tuesday March 3, once production on the March 5 issue was complete, all pages had been transmitted to the press and a number of stories had been uploaded to our Web site, View Editor Charles McClure e-mailed a copy of that story to Lakeway city officials. Lakeway MUD officials were not sent a copy.
The View apologizes for any impression of partiality that Mr. McClure’s e-mail might imply.
