Lake Travis Fire Rescue responded to a brush fire that was sparked Monday around 1:30 p.m. on RR 620 near the Falconhead Apartments and close to two Lake Travis Independent School District campuses.

A brush fire that ignited today near Falconhead Apartments and two Lake Travis ISD schools has been contained, according to Marco Alvarado, the communications director for the school district.

Lake Travis Fire Rescue Assistant Chief John Durham said Steiner Ranch subdivision wildfire is now contained.
