When mentioning to friends and neighbors the proposed annexation by the City of Lakeway of 18 properties at the far end of North Brooks Hollow Rd, I have heard a surprisingly uniform response: That North Brooks Hollow (NBH) residents use Lakeway city services without paying for them, and annexation will make them pay.
