Plenty of solid individual results for Lake Travis overshadowed the team finishes at the district championship meet last week in Marble Falls, as the Cavaliers sent 13 athletes to the regional track championship in San Antonio at Alamo Stadium on May 2-3.

Bee Cave City Council members threw beleaguered Backyard at Bee Cave a lifeline by granting it a third special event permit that will expire June 30 by a 3-2 vote.
