James (Jim) Robert Marshall (70) former resident of Lakeway, Texas, passed away on Dec. 3, 2009 at his home in Spicewood.
Jim was born on Oc. 20, 1939 in Los Angeles, Calf., to Marie and Donald (d) Marshall and soon after moved to Omaha, Neb. Jim married Sandy Scoular in 1961 and moved to California where they raised two children, Todd and Tracy.
The family resided in Covina, CA; Omaha, Neb; Austin/Lakeway, TX; and Spicewood. Jim is survived by his wife Sandy; children Todd (Julie) Marshall and Tracy (Nick) Minchich; grandchildren Parker Marshall (18) and Madison Marshall (14); mother Marie of Florida; sister Judy Falkinburg of Florida; and his dogs Mandy and Murphy.
Jim was a man of many skills and talents but to his family and friends he was best known for being a hard working man, loving father and caring spouse.
A service will be held to celebrate his life at 2 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2009 at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home located at 411 RR 620 South, in Lakeway. A reception will immediately follow the service.
