Lead story Seton

The beautiful home of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Archuleta will host the fourth annual Seton Gala, titled “An Elegant Evening,” this Sunday from 5-7 p.m.

Music will be provided by Lance Morgan and Rick Busby. There will be an open bar and an array of heavy hors d’oeuvres sure to please even the most discriminating palate. A silent auction will begin at 5 p.m.
The Seton Gala is sponsored by The Lakeway Associates of the Seton Development Board. All proceeds benefit Seton Shoal Creek Hospital in Austin.
Shoal Creek is the only acute care psychiatric hospital in Central Texas that treats children, teens and adults. The hospital offers both in-patient and outpatient programs for people struggling with mental disorders, chemical dependency detoxification, emotional and/or behavioral problems.
One in four people in the U.S. are affected by some sort of mental or behavioral health disorder at some point in their lives. Seton Shoal Creek provides help and healing to these patients in crisis.
Bus transportation will be provided from the parking lot at Lakeway City Hall, 1102 Lohman’s Crossing Road, to the Archuleta home every 15 minutes starting at 4:45 p.m. On-site parking is available, but limited. If you wish to make a donation to this worthy cause, you may do so by selecting the “Angel Category” of your choice: Angel of Mercy, $1,500; Angel of Faith, $1,000; Angel Sponsor, $500. Angel donors will have recognition on the event brochures and will receive two complimentary gala tickets. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
