As the newest campus of the Lake Travis Independent School District (LTISD) continues to sail along the “sea of excellence,” its principal, Allison Cobb, will too navigate through a second term as President-elect for the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA), District 13.
“It is my pleasure to continue to serve with such a distinguished and accomplished cadre of educators,” said Cobb. “For years, TEPSA leaders and members have worked hard to develop a strong and effective support system for public school elementary principals and supervisors. I look forward to returning the gesture and making significant contributions for the organization’s continued growth.”
Cobb began her 20-year career in education as a kindergarten teacher. She has been with LTISD since 2004 when she took the position of assistant principal at Lakeway Elementary School. In 2006, Cobb was named the TEPSA Assistant Principal of the Year and since then has served as a TEPSA district officer. She is also an alumnus of TEPSA’s Academy IX.
“Educational leaders like Allison work passionately to provide a quality education for all Texas schoolchildren,” said TEPSA Executive Director Sandi Borden. “We are pleased to have her sharing her talent and experience with us once again and look forward to her continued contributions.”
Since 1917, TEPSA has served Texas principals and supervisors and currently has more than 5,800 members statewide. These administrators supervise more than 150,000 teachers who direct the activities of more than 2.4 million PreK-8 school children.
