Mark your calendar for Goblin Glow, Saturday, Oct. 17, 6:30 p.m. at Lakeway City Park. There will be trick-or-treating, face painters, stilt walkers, balloon twisters, and live music. If that’s not enough, there will be a showing of Creature from the Black Lagoon at 8:15 p.m. to close out the night. There is no charge, so bring your ghouls and goblins and come join us.
• Lupine Lane has classes for children of all ages on Thursdays at the Lakeway Activity Center. Music, art and cooking will be fun, uplifting, and educational as children participate in instructor Lauren Boyle’s creative activities. • “The After School Supper Club” for 7-12 year olds will teach participants how to prepare a delicious dinner for four. Thursdays, 5:30-7 p.m.
• Our two yoga instructors Lisa and Tonya team up to provide four classes which will introduce the Fundamentals of Yoga to those 40 and over. Join this “Introduction to Prime of Life Yoga” Thursdays, beginning today, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
• Participants will be completing four 12 x 12 scrapbook pages in each session of “Sensational Scrapbooking.” This class is meant for anyone from the novice scrapbooker to the folks who just need some time and inspiration. Penny Dove and Chrissie Hartley will teach this class Oct. 13, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
• Wills and Trusts Seminar: Mr. John S. Levy, a member of both the Florida and Texas Bar Associations with over 40 years’ experience, will cover these all the complicated aspects of real estate, wills, trusts, and estates in an easy to understand 45-minute presentation on Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. Question/Answer session will follow.
