A+ Education Foundation, a philanthropic arm of A+ Federal Credit Union announced the winners of the Foundation’s 2009 Educator Grant Program. 2009 not only marks a milestone anniversary for A+ Federal Credit Union, 60 years, it is also a monumental year for grants awarded — more than $60,000 to 66 recipients.

Lake Travis Fire-Rescue found itself responding to a fire in its own building Monday morning after office staff smelled smoke in the administration portion of the fire station located at 15516 General Williamson Drive, according to Assistant Fire Chief Robert Abbott.
