Caroline Murphy, Mayor of Bee Cave, will be the featured speaker at the weekly meeting of the Bee Cave Rotary on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009. The Bee Cave Rotary Club meets from 7:30 -8:30 a.m. at the Old Bee Cave School House, next to the Bee Cave Police Department at 13333-A Texas 71 West, just behind the Shops at the Galleria.

 The newly formed Bee Cave Rotary is sponsored by the Lakeway/Lake Travis Rotary, and is under the leadership of President Laura Mitchell. Anyone interested in joining is invited to attend a regular meeting any Tuesday at the School House at 7:30 am to learn more about Rotary, or visit the website at www.beecaverotary.com .
On Feb. 24, the Bee Cave Rotary invites the community to attend a presentation at the Lakeway Heritage Center at 7:30 a.m about the Patriot Fund and the iBOT Mobility System. The iBOT is a unique motorized wheelchair capable of climbing stairs and other feats, and is made available to America’s veterans through the efforts of groups like Rotary.
